Carol Maynard White

Carol White 70 of Holden departed this life Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Pikeville Medical Center. She was born December 15, 1946 in Oceana, WV a daughter of the late James and Josie Maynard. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Carolina White, brother Rick Maynor and sister Mary Maynor, grandson Tony White. She is survived by her husband McKinley White, sons Edward McKinley White and Lowell (Mary) White, daughters Jamie White and Coliene (David) Workman. Brother Larry Maynor. Grandchildren Kayla Woody, Dustin White, McKinley White II, Josh White, Heather (Josh) Snodgrass and Morgan Tabor. Great Grandchildren Jaycob Woody, Morgan Robert Snodgrass, Erika Snodgrass, Samantha Wilburn, Emily Wilburn, Corwin Adkins and KC Christian. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the 20 Whitman Community Church with the Rev. Joaquine Ooten officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 10:00-11:00 a.m. also on Thursday at the church. Akers-James Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
