Carol McCoy

Carol McCoy, 63 of Logan departed this life Wednesday December 14 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born May 10, 1953 to the late Arlie Homer and Dixie Wooten Smith. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by: her sisters, Joann Fitzpatick, Lorraine Limings, and Virginia Smith; brother-in-law, James Orville Tomblin; and son, Martin “Bucko” McCoy. Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband, Martin McCoy; son, Anthony (Tiffany) McCoy; daughter, Margie (Rodney) Doneff; brother, Mason (Martha) Smith; sister, Nevada Crittenden; nieces, Darlene (Billy) Hall, Francis Blackburn, Martha Limings Ryan; nephews, Acie Limings, Eddie (Brenda) Limings; step-son, William Henry Firth; grandchildren, Brayden McCoy, Kaci Lee, Amara McCoy, Riley McCoy, Summer Doneff, Zachary Dean, and Haylee McCoy; great-nieces, Rachel (Brian) McCallister and Meagen (John) Wheeler; great-nephews, Michael (Barbara) Hall and Aaron Porter. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday December 20 at Akers-James Funeral Home with Pastor John Godby officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
