Bruce Messer

Bruce Messer 50 of Holden passed away Friday October 16, 2009 at Thomas Memorial Hospital in Charleston. He was born February 4, 1959 at Holden. He was the son of the late Hershel and Geneva Brooks Messer of Holden. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by five brothers James A. (Scrap) Messer, William (Shubby) Messer, Ronnie Messer and James H. (Junior) Messer, one sister Naomi and one nephew David (Rudy) Cochrane. Those left to cherish his memory are one daughter Bridget Messer, four sisters Pat Sheppard of Rowe, Virginia, Phyllis Wray of Cleveland, Ohio, Glenna Curry of LaGrange, Ohio and Joan (Annie) Parris of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and one brother Danny (Tinky) Messer of Holden and a host of nieces and nephews.
