Brenda Simpkins

Brenda Sue (Hughes) Simpkins, 27, of Belo went to be with the Lord on September 25, 2006 when she was killed in an automobile accident in Mingo Co. Born September 25, 1978 in Logan, she was the daughter of Jesse Roger (Yuvonne) Hughes of Whitman and Mildren (Michael) Pelfrey of Delbarton. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl and Shelby Jean McCoy and her grandfather, Jesse Hughes of Mt. Gay. Mrs. Simpkins was a homemaker. In addition to her husband, Eddie Simpkins she is survived by one brother; Roger Hughes of Holden. One niece, Allison Page. Two nephews, Devan and Tyler and several aunts and uncles and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday September 28, from 9:00 A.M until 11:00 A.M at James Funeral Home. Funeral Services will then take place at 11:00 A.M with Rev. Gaye Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
