Brenda Gore

Brenda Sue Cantrell Gore 58 of Logan passed away Monday August 29, 2011 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born August 21, 1953 in Logan a daughter of the late William Bill and Ruth Mason Cantrell. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sisters Genina Cantrell, Faye Gartin, Ruby Spry, Edith "Cookie" Workman, Georgia Fannin, Billie Fowler, one brother Jesse Cantrell, Mother-in-law and Father-in-law Arnold and Francis Gore. Brenda was a homemaker.She is survived by her soul mate and husband of 36 years Dewey Gore, Sr., sons Rev. Dewey Gore Jr. and Travis Gore. Daughters by love Delana Gore and Cristi Baker. Her precious grandchildren Skylar Brooke Gore and Jayden Blake Gore, one sister Bonnie Cantrell. Sisters-in-law Dicie (Homer) Baker, Amy (Berbin) Townsend and Rita Cantrell all of Logan. Brothers-in-law Arnold (Myong) Gore Jr. of Windsor, Va., Bruce (Tonya) Gore of Amherstdale, Rev. Walter (Hope) Gore of Madison, WV and Jeff (Tracy) Gore of Man. Special sister Diane Cisco of Logan and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday September 2, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walter Gore officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 6-9 P.M. Thursday September 1, 2011 at James Funeral Home.
