BreAnna Joelle Wilburn

BreAnna Joelle (Collins) Wilburn, 38 of Julian, WV formerly of Mud Fork passed away on February 6, 2026, at University of Kentucky Health Care. 

She was born on October 26, 1987, to the late Bobby “Porky” Collins and Mary “Koochie” Collins in Logan, West Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Jeffery Collins; grandparents, Ernest Harold “Red” Keener, Margaret Evans Keener, Cleston “Shorty” Collins, and Geneva Collins. 

She was a dedicated RN with a passion for helping people. She enjoyed going riding in the woods, and loved helping with cheerleading and going to concerts. 

BreAnna is survived by her husband, Richard Wilburn of Julian, WV, who she married September 30, 2024, and gained a stepdaughter, Reagan Wilburn of Julian, WV: her brother, Jeremy Collins of Chapmanville, WV; a very special self-proclaimed daughter, Talan Gibson; and special cousins, Jorden Goff and Taylor Goff.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Akers-Jame Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Chapmanville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service, Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Michael Collins, Gabe Collins, Tanner Mullins, Vinson Maynard, Jorden Goff, and Ben Collins. “Lil” Dave Long will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
