Bonnie Dingess

Bonnie Dingess, 89 of Holden departed this life Wednesday August 24 at her residence. She was born August 17, 1927 in Branchland, WV to the late Leon Gilkerson and Della Eplin Gilkerson. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Don Dingess. Bonnie was a lifelong member of the 5 & 6 Holden FWB Church and was a loving mother and grandmother. Those to cherish her memory include: her children, Donna (Chuck) Collins of Logan, OH, Cathy Dingess of Holden, Randy (Becky) Dingess of Holden, and Tammy (Eddie) Kirkendoll of Chapmanville; 4 grandchildren, Tanker, Ryan, Cody, and Carrie. Also surviving are 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday August 26 at the 5 & 6 Holden FWB Church with Revs. Larry Light and Rodney Spears officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will 2 hours prior to the services from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday also at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
