Bobby P. Schrader 89 of Stollings passed away on Wednesday October 21, 2009 at Thomas Memorial Hospital in Charleston. Born January 23, 1920 he was the grandson of the late Dutch and Corrie Lee Earnest. Also preceding him in death was one brother Kelly Schrader and his aunt Mary Earnest Shelton. Bobby was a proud veteran of World War II. He served in the United States Air Force and retired as a Staff Sargeant. Bob was a retired Auto Mechanic Instructor for the Ralph R. Willis Vocational and Technical School and he attended the Stollings First Christian Church. He enjoyed driving his VW to car shows where he won many awards and made many friends. Bobby also loved spending time with his precious cat, Tommie. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 53 years Nell Kuhn Schrader, three brothers Jim (Tommi) Schrader, Eddie Ray (Bernadine) Schrader and Bill Schrader, two sisters Mary Katherine (Charles) Simmons and Betty Ann (Alger) Mosley, special nieces Cynthia Warren, Sandra Mitchell, Beth Vail, Nora Childers and Alma Lee Warren, special nephews Gary Hawkins, David Warren, Roger Shortt and Benjamin Rudisill and several other nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday October 24, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Fry officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home. Pallbearers will family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Eugene Russell, Eddie Thornhill, Sonny White, Gene White, Ralph Noe, Fred Duncan, John Collins, Cecil Adkins, Bill Miller, Mark Keyser, Mark Keyser II and Joshua Keyser. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in memory of Bobby to the Stollings First Christian Church.
