Bobby Darrell Copley

Bobby D. Copley Jr., 50 of Ethel, WV departed this life Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born May 27, 1971 at Logan, WV to the late Bobby Sr. and Kelsie (Davis) Copley. Bobby Jr. was employed by AWP Traffic Control for more than 2 years. He loved riding his side by side in the hills, four wheeling, but his favorite hobby was working out and going to the gym in his spare time. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Emma Copley and Tommy “Cody” Copley both of Ethel, WV; brother, David (Julie) Copley of Man, WV; niece, Autum Copley of Charleston, WV, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Honoring his wishes his body is to be cremated. His remains will be laid to rest with his parents. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at Akers-James Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Runyon officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
