Bobbie Ellis

Bobbie Ellis, 75 of Verdunville passed away Tuesday November 24, 2015 at his residence. Born May 1, 1940 in Verdunville he was the son of the late Everett and Laura Conn Ellis. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brothers Everett Ellis Jr. and Bernie M. Ellis and sisters Betty Jo Ellis Carey and Lillie Mae Ellis. Mr. Ellis was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. Those left to cherish his memory include: his brother Charles Ray Ellis, his sister Juanita Ellis Hall, Sister-In-Law Geneva Ellis and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday November 29 at James Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Gore officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. honoring his wishes Mr. Ellis’ remains are to be cremated.
