Billy G. FryBilly G. Fry 68 of Stollings suddenly departed this life Tuesday September 6, 2011 ever so shortly after winning a glorious victory over cancer. Born February 28, 1943 in Stollings, WV he was the son of the late Wayne and Carime Knipp Fry of Stollings. Bill was also preceded in death by a brother Raymond, two infant brothers and one infant sister. Those left to cherish Bill's memory include his wife of 32 years Eleanor Sue Sammons Fry, children Billy Gene Fry Jr. of Stollings, Merna (Timmy) Justice of Logan, Lesa (Doug) Criswell of Colorado Springs, Co., and Vicky (Jim) Park of McArthur, Ohio, grandchildren Brian Justice, Jennifer Criswell, David Criswell, Jamee Park and Brittany Butcher, great granddaughter McKayla Criswell, brothers George (Mary) Fry of Logan, Kenneth (Judy) Frye, David (Jeanne) Fry, Richard Fry, Johnny (Pat) Fry all of Stollings and Danny Joe (Terry) Fry of West Jefferson, Ohio, sisters Jewel (Bill) Korody, Retha (Ronald) Carter all of Stollings and Carime "Tuney" (Gary) Brown of Peach Creek and many nieces and nephews. Bill was well loved by all and leaves behind many great friends to share his stories. He was a member of the Aracoma Masonic Lodge 99 was at one time an avid bowler and enjoyed buying and restoring classic cars. Bill was an extremely accomplished and talented self employed contractor. He built numerous beautiful homes that his clients made into homes. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday September 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the James Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roscoe Chafin officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby with Masonic Graveside Rites. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Friday also at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bill's nephews. Online condolences may be left at www.jamesfh.com. James Funeral Home in Logan is in charge of arrangements.

I'd like to express our deep sorrow for the loss of one of Logan's most loved and respected men. Mr. Bill Fry.. No one could have asked for a better person or friend and i'm sorry we couldn't be there in person during the families time of sorrow. I knew Bill for a few years i bowled with him and he was always nice to me he always made me feel welcome i am sorry for your loss he was a good man you are in our prayers
