Betty Lee Herman

Betty Herman, 96, passed away on June 21, 2019 at Cornerstone Hospice, The Villages, FL. She was born February 22, 1923 in Logan, WV, and moved to Bradenton, FL in 1985. Survivors include one son, Michael (Judy) of The Villages, FL; grandchildren Brett of Fort Worth, TX, Brian (Carolyn) of Louisville, KY, and Chad Elkins (Michael) of Logan, WV; and, great-grandchildren Gabrielle, Michael, Corrine, William and Andrew. Betty was a gentle and caring soul. When she wasn’t spending time with family, or helping others she loved to take care of her houseplants, especially her orchids. And, she loved to play bridge. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all those at Cornerstone Hospice for their wonderful care. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. June 27, 2019 in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
