Betty Jo Carter

September 13, 1951 — March 5, 2023

Holden, WV

Mrs. Betty Jo Carter, 71 of Holden, surrounded by her family, peacefully passed away, on a beautiful and sunny Sunday morning, March 5, 2023, at Logan Regional Medical Center, after battling a long illness. Her soul left this world for Heaven, and she gained her eternal rest and peace, with Jesus and her passed on loved ones. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up the universe and a sweet and genuine spirit that was unmatched. She was an exceptional Christian lady for many years and shined her light  for Christ in many ways.  She loved the Lord, and her church, wholeheartedly. She was an amazing Wife, and Mother, and the very best Grandmother ever. You never left her home without a meal, and especially a hug and an “I love you.”  She had a way of making everyone feel loved and cared for in a unique way. We are going to miss her so very much, but we will meet her again. We know she is waiting and cheering us on from Heaven.
