Ben J. Patrick

Ben Jackson Patrick, 54, of Henlawson, WV passed away on January 23, 2019 at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born November 25, 1964 to Lucy Williams Patrick and the late Andrew “Jack” Patrick of Henlawson, WV. Ben was a 1983 graduate of Logan High School. After graduation, he served in the United States Navy. He was a former employee of the Logan County Board of Education, Logan Drive Shaft, and Guyan Sports Center. Ben will always be remembered for his contagious laughter and big smile. Those left to cherish is memory are: his loving wife, Alma Keene Patrick; his sons Frank “Shane” (Kristin) Keene of Logan, WV, Ben (Krysta) Patrick II, of Peach Creek, WV, and Jack “Rabbit” Patrick of Henlawson, WV; grandchildren, Dorian Keene, Halle Keene, Logan Patrick, Bella Patrick, and Weston Patrick; brother, Robert (Robin) Patrick of Gold Hill, NC, sisters Elizabeth (David) Blankenship of Charleston, WV and Janet Toney of Henlawson, WV; Nieces, Stephanie (Tommy) Mallory of Charleston, WV and Samantha Patrick of Gold Hill, NC; nephew, Andrew Toney of Henlawson, WV; great-niece, Brayli Mallory; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Akers-James Funeral Home with P.J. Tomblin officiating. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories and stories. Per his request, Mr. Patrick’s remains will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions can be made to Akers-James Funeral Home to help with the memorial service.
