Barbara Lucetta White

Barbara Lucetta White, 61, of Hickory, NC, formerly of Mitchell Heights, went home to be with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ at her home on Friday, July 11, 2014 after an extended period of declining health. Born July 31, 1952 in San Francisco, CA, she was the daughter of the late Bobbie Rae Earp of Monaville. Also preceding her in death was her husband of 40 years, Richard Lee White of Mitchell Heights. Barbara was a homemaker. She was a member of the Verdunville Church of God. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Survivors include one daughter, Christa (Michael) Podunavac of Conover, NC; one son, John Richard White of Hickory, NC; two grandchildren: Dylan and Cadence Podunavac of Conover, NC; and a host of other dear family and friends. Services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the Verdunville Church of God with Rev. Michael Hartwell officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 P.M.
