Barbara Sue Mowery

Barbara Sue Mowery, 75 of Holden passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021, at CAMC Memorial Hospital.

She was born December 13, 1945, at Holden to the late Elwood and Catherine “Katie” (Webb) Mowery. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, John and David Mowery.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Logan.

Barbara is survived by her sister, Connie (Darrell) Thompson of Chapmanville; special sister/cousin, Sarah (Danny) Bates of White Pine, TN and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Akers-James Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Chapmanville. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021, also at the funeral home.
