Auddie Nelson

Auddie Nelson, 77. of Dingess, WV went to be with the Lord August 29, 2011. He was born in Logan, WV March 16, 1934. Auddie was a retired coal miner where he worked at Amherst Coal. Preceeding him in death was his mother Verchie Sargent Nelson Tomblin and father Clinty Nelson; 4 brothers, Ward Nelson, Eugene Nelson, James Nelson, and Ernie Tomblin; Six sisters, Revil Nelson, Mary Lou Tomblin, Wanda Tomblin, Cindy Tomblin, Holene Clay, and Loraine Teague; Two grandchildren, Trista Nelson, and Shannon Nelson. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Joyce Spaulding Nelson; Five sons, Alvin Nelson, Ricky (Teresa) Nelson, Clinty Nelson, David Nelson, and Zachary Nelson, all of Dingess; three daughters, Virginia "Sissy" (Bill ) Lilly of Saw Mill Rd., Chapmanville, WV; Shelia (Mike) Flemming of Dingess, WV; and Betty (Michael) Baggett of Paulding GA. Eight brothers: Hobert (Pat) Nelson of Sillivan, OH; Thomas Nelson of Ohio. Earl Tomblin Jr, of Cleveland, OH, Kenneth (Shirley) Tomblin of Chapmanville, WV; Vernon Tomblin of Cleveland, OH, Olson Tomblin, of Cleveland, OH; Sonny (Ann) Tomblin of Ravena OH, and Spencer (Pat) Clark of PA. Two sisters Ramona (Lee) Jarrells and Barbara (Bill) Randolph bothe of Mantua, OH. 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. and a hoslt of neices and nephews and many friends. Funeral Services well be conducted Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 2pm at Mudfork Frewill Baptist Church with Rev. Elbert Collins, Jr officiating. Burial will follow at Frye cemetery at Verdunville, WV Visitation will begin at 6pm Friday, September 2, 2011 at Mudfork Freewill Baptist Church, Verdunville. Pall bearers will be Ricky Nelson II, Cody Nelson, Lil Jack Browingi, Joe Tomblin, Aaron Nelson II, Darian Browning, Brian Conley, and Mike Flemming.
