Arthur F. Willis

Arthur F. (Junie) Willis Jr., 53, of Logan passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2008 in Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born June 23, 1954 at Chandler, Arizona. He was the son of Arthur F Sr. and Loretta Willis of Crooked Creek. Art was a City of Logan Fireman, Volunteer Paramedic at County Public Rescue, Rock Truck Driver with Monument Mining and Rebel Coal, Copier Technician with Willis Business Machines and a Little League Coach. Those he left behind include his wife of 29 years, Donna. Two sons; Shawn (Stephanie) Willis of Chapmanville and Artie Willis at home. One daughter, Taylor Willis at home. Three brothers; Dan (Carol) Willis of Peach Creek, Greg (Angie) Willis of Chapmanville and Scott (Amanda) Willis of Crooked Creek. Two sisters; Linda (Gene) Vance of Peach Creek and Brenda (Andy) McKenzie also of Peach Creek. Two grandchildren, Evan and Addison Willis. And a special daughter, Lauren Farris. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. Thursday, January 3, 2008 at James Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, January 4, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barney Goins officiating. Burial will follow in the Wheatley Family Cemetery at Hurricane Branch.
