Amber Walsh

Amber Fay Walsh, 86 of Holden, WV departed this life on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Logan Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born September 19, 1934 at Logan, WV to the late Vinson and Bertha (Stollings) Dingess. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Walsh; sisters, Shirley Watts, and Madeline “Atta” Wright; brothers, Don J. Dingess, Bourbon Dingess, and Malcom Dingess. Amber was a faithful member of the 5&6 Holden FWB Church at Holden, WV. She was employed at G.C. Murphy’s for 16 years and was a devoted wife and mother. Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Durk L. Walsh of St. Petersburg, FL, and Don G. Walsh of Columbia, SC; brother, Ernest Dingess of Louisville, KY; and a host of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2020 in Highland Memory Gardens at Chapmanville, WV with Rev. John Reed and Pastor Larry Light officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2020 at the 5&6 Holden FWB Church at Holden, WV. Honorary pallbearers are Kelly “Tanker” Eggers, Levi Jeffery, Koty Robinette, Cody Dingess, Randy Dingess, and Eddie Kirkendoll. The family wishes many thanks to Cottage Flower Shop.
