Alie Browning

Alie Browning, 85, of Crooked Creek passed away Wednesday November 22, 2006 at his residence. He was born October 2, 1921 to the late Ace Browning and Fannie Workman Browning White. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Bruce White. Survivors include two daughters; Sandra Wells of Peach Creek, and Sharon (James) Faine of Crooked Creek. Two sons; Michael (JoAnna) Browning of Charlottte, NC., and Jim (Maria) Browning of New Boston, MI. One brother, Donald (Deborah) Browning of Fort Meyers, FL. Seven grandchildren; Melissa Deer, Christi Baisden, Eric Browning, Angela Terry, Jennifer Cornell, Brandon Wells and John Browning. Eleven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Browning was a retired coal miner and a proud Veteran of W.W.II. Services will be conducted Saturday November 25, 2006 at 2:00 P.M at Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Condolences may be sent to www.jamesfh.com.
